Operating Andersen Forever Storm Door Hardware

This is a demonstration of how the hardware for the Andersen Forever storm door functions (part # 306010)

If you hold the interior handle piece in your hand prior to installation and depress the handle, the latch part that catches will not move. It isn’t broken–this set of hardware only works when installed. The strike is spring loaded and interacts with the latch only when the handle is depressed, allowing the door to be opened.
